what to expect /session info
I'm so excited you are here and honored that you are considering me to be your photographer!
**For birth story packages, please visit the birth info page or contact me directly.**
During your storytelling session, we will focus on connection between you and your family. My sessions last up to 60 minutes and take place during golden hour, this is the hour right before sunset. The location of your session will be chosen during the planning process and will determine the exact time we start.
My session packages include your best images from your session. You can expect your set of professionally retouched high resolution images to be delivered in a password-protected gallery within 3 weeks. Please note that if I am currently in a busy season with work (October through January, it could take the full 3-4 weeks for your gallery to be finished.
Client closet and styling assistance is also included in your package at no additional cost. Styling is extremely important when it comes to editing and bringing the whole session together, so I love being apart of this step as much as you will allow me.
For booking, I require a $100 retainer upon signing of your contract to reserve your date on my calendar and the remaining balance is due two days prior to your session.

Yes, all sessions require a $100 non-refundable retainer and a signed contract in order to hold your date and session time on my calendar. The remaining balance is due two days prior to your session.
WHAT TIME WILL MY SESSION START?
All outdoor sessions are shot during "Golden Hour", which is the hour before sunset. The lighting is usually soft and easy to work with and it compliments just about everyone and everything! Timing changes depending on the season/time of the year and can vary slightly depending on the location of your session. Fresh 48 and in-home lifestyle newborn sessions are also available and typically scheduled for mid-morning.
Where will my session take place?
This is totally up to you and on what vibe you are looking for - beach, field, woods, urban, etc. I will give you my recommendations and we will choose a location together during the planning process.

Let’s make this process as smooth as possible. My client closet is designed to take the stress out of finding outfits for your session. I have hand selected beautiful, versatile, flattering dresses, tops and bottoms, and more that fit a wide range of shapes and sizes.
